Stan’s Fit For Your Feet is truly a family business. Company president and chief executive officer Jim Sajdak’s father started the company 64 years ago. Today, all four of Sajdak’s children are also involved. It’s that family mentality, and the dedication of the senior staff at Stan’s, that has been driving the business, Sajdak said.

“It’s been great. I have a tremendous senior staff that has been with me for a lot of years. They continue to support the business, and the continuity has helped with our growth,” Sajdak said.

Stan’s Fit For your Feet currently has three locations in southeastern Wisconsin. The stores maintain an inventory of unique, quality products and a personable relationship with their customers, Sajdak said.

“Our customers are important to us. They know who we are, and because we live and work in the community, they know we care, too,” he said. “It’s easy for us to be a part of the fabric of this community because we grew up here. We’re able to help out and give back.”

The company’s commitment to the community extends to the entire staff, Sajdak said.

“Our staff oversees ownership of the stores,” he said. “It’s not just me; there are many ways we connect with our customers and give back to the community.”

The community involvement translates to how the company interacts with its customers, too, he said.

“Our mentality is not to just sell a pair of shoes, but to make a friend in the process,” he said. “I’m very proud of the relationship my staff has with the community.”

Even after 64 years in business, Sajdak continues to hone and adapt the products and services it offers, he said. The stores offer sit-and-fit services and a product line unmatched by its competitors, Sajdak said.
