Sikich adds two Brookfield partners

Firm now has 18 Milwaukee market partners

Professional services firm Sikich LLP has added two new partners in its Brookfield office.

Brad Netzel, CPA, audit and Jerry Schmit, Jr., CPA, MST, tax, are the latest partners in the Milwaukee market, which now has 128 employees and 18 partners.

Naperville, Ill.-based Sikich entered the Milwaukee market in 2013 when it acquired Brookfield-based Kolb + Co. and expanded its local presence when it acquired the audit, accounting and tax practice of Pewaukee-based Jannsen + Co. in 2015. The audit, accounting and tax, technology, investment banking and advisory and managed services firm has a total of 94 partners and more than 650 employees at 12 offices nationwide.

Netzel has been practicing since 2000. He assists clients with accounting and audit issues, and has experience serving both public and private companies. Schmit handles partnership tax work, and works extensively with manufacturers and real estate entities.

Sikich also announced it has added six other partners in its Chicago and Naperville offices.

“Our new partners have made significant contributions to the firm and have consistently demonstrated the strong client service, innovative thinking and problem-solving that we value,” said Sikich CEO Jim Sikich. “They are effective leaders on their respective teams, and we look forward to their continued positive impact on our clients and the firm.”
