Palec joins Colliers as partner
Steve Palec, one of the most prominent office space brokers in Milwaukee, recently left his postion leading Cresa’s Milwaukee office to become a partner at Colliers International|Wisconsin in Milwaukee. At Colliers, Palec will lead the company’s Occupier Services platform, representing some of the area’s largest corporate real estate users. “As proud as I am to have built a dynamic tenant representation business (at Cresa), I truly missed being with a prominent and energetic team of professionals as the Colliers team has built over that past two decades,” Palec said. “It sounds like a cliché but clichés are true…for me, this is all about my clients. The clout this gives my clients is spectacular. The Colliers people have always had my utmost respect. Our cultures and business philosophies couldn’t be more aligned.”

Ferron joins Boerke Company’s industrial team
David Ferron, formerly real estate and development manager for Milwaukee-based Paul Davis Restoration, has joined Milwaukee-based The Boerke Company as a commercial real estate advisor, where he will work with the firm’s Industrial Services Team.

“Now was the right time in my career to take all my past experience and successes into a respected and well established commercial real estate firm like The Boerke Company,” said Ferron. “The company’s Alliance with Cushman & Wakefield and opportunity to work with such an experienced group of commercial real estate professionals were the two big driving factors for me coming on board here.”

At Paul Davis Restoration, Ferron managed the renovation of dozens of buildings, including a two city block redevelopment of former industrial buildings, converting them to institutional (MATC) and service (BLAST) uses. He also managed the redevelopment and ground up construction of a 40,000 SF flex building which achieved full occupancy prior to completion.
