The Carol and Robert Smart Trust have submitted a petition to the city of Waukesha to annex 96 acres northeast of Highway 164 and Big Bend Road from the Town of Waukesha. The property owner is preparing development plans for the site that could be submitted “in the next year or so,” said Jennifer Andrews, city planner for the City of Waukesha The development is expected to include some commercial development, she said.
