Quaker Steak & Lube to open in New Berlin

The Quaker Steak & Lube national chain, known for its award-winning chicken wings, will open a new restaurant in New Berlin at 4900 S. Moorland Road, the former site of a Tumbleweed Southwest Grill.

The new restaurant will open Jan. 25 and will create more than 100 jobs.

The New Berlin restaurant will be the chain’s third location in Wisconsin.

The restaurant will feature a 7,900-square-foot store design that accommodates seating for 200 people and includes an enclosed patio.

“We are excited to bring New Berlin and surrounding regions great food, real motorcycles, authentic cars and tons of family fun,” said Scott Acker of Waukesha, who also is the owner and operator of Quaker Steak & Lube Middleton and Madison. “Quaker Steak & Lube offers something for everyone and we look forward to connecting with new customers and building a fan base in this area.”
