A new Italian eatery and pizzeria has been proposed for a former Summit Credit Union space in West Allis.
The 3,100-square-foot restaurant, to be located at 1606 S. 84th St., would include a 64-seat dining room, a 16-seat private event space and a drive-through window on the building’s east side, according to plans submitted to the city.
The name of the restaurant was not included in those plans.
The applicant is listed as J & L Enterprises of WI. Site plans, including a request for a special use permit for the building will be reviewed by the city’s Plan Commission during a meeting today.
Plans for the space include interior remodeling and adding awnings and replacing signage on its exterior. The restaurant would share the building with other businesses Nails 2000 and Johnny V’s Classic Cafe.
The restaurant’s menu would offer pizzas, Italian dishes and a fish fry. It would serve beer and wine. In addition to dine-in and drive through, the restaurant would also offer carry-out.
It would be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
