UnitedHealthcare and Packers Radio Network raised $10,000 to support Down syndrome patients and their families through the “First Downs for Down Syndrome” fundraiser.
For the fundraiser, UnitedHealthcare donated $25 each time the Green Bay Packers made a first down during the regular season. The Packers recorded 312 first downs during the regular season which was equal to $7800. UnitedHealthcare added an additional $2200 to make the $10,000 donation.
“UnitedHealthcare is honored to work with Wisconsin Upside Down and the important work it does to support people with Down syndrome,” said Wendy Arnone, president of  UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin.  “UnitedHealthcare is committed to supporting our communities by helping people enhance their health and quality of life.”

An integral component of such leadership was a desire and commitment to serve others.”
