Nursing home in Pewaukee to close

144 employees will lose their jobs

Five Star Quality Care Inc. informed state officials that it plans to close its River Hills West Healthcare Center in Pewaukee.

The closure will put 144 employees out of work. Terminations will begin between May 3-17.

River Hills West Healthcare Center, located at 321 Riverside Dr. in Pewaukee, is a senior living community with services than include skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, respite/short stay and care for people with Alzheimer’s or related dementia.
