Jim Lindenberg is the owner of three businesses in southeastern Wisconsin – The Union House Restaurant in Genesee Depot, Waukesha-based Lindy Enterprises and JML Holdings.
Lindenberg, an alumnus of UW-Whitewater and the now-closed Cardinal Stritch University, previously owned Waukesha patio and rec room retailer Master Z’s and sold the business in 2018. All told, Lindenberg has owned 13 business throughout his career, most notably World Class Wire & Cable, which he sold to Anixter in 2008.
Jim and his wife, Heidi Lindenberg, purchased The Union House in February 2020 after years of patronage at the longtime Lake Country restaurant.
“Jim and his companies are always active in their communities, and he has an outstanding reputation for service and contribution to nonprofit organizations. He coached youth sports teams for more than 20 years,” said William Dougan, professor at UW–Whitewater.
Lindenberg has been an active member of the Whitewater alumni community, mentoring students, and supporting the entrepreneurship program as a member of the advisory board, Dougan said.
