Milwaukee-based The Boerke Company Inc. announced that it has added three additional brokers: Rand Wolf, formerly a senior vice president and industrial broker for CBRE; Kristian Sydow, formerly vice president of retail brokerage for Grubb & Ellis|Apex Commercial and Nathan Powers, former retail broker for Grubb & Ellis|Apex Commercial.

Grafton industrial building sold for $1.9 million
Hakaduli Properties LLC recently purchased a 43,000-square-foot multi-tenant, industrial building at 2350-60 Dakota Dr., Grafton, from Westbury Bank for $1.9 million.
Downtown office building to be sold at auction
A 48,886-square-foot office building located at 804 N. Milwaukee St. in downtown Milwaukee is scheduled to be sold at auction on Dec. 6 at www.auction.com , said Jack Jacobson of NAI MLG Commercial, who is representing the building owner.
A new role for the WEDC
Of late some mud has been slung at the newly formed Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). Much of it deserved. The agency discovered it had failed to track nearly $9 million in loans that are not current, the chief financial officer resigned and Governor Walker brought in a new interim leader while suggesting he would be discussing a series of dramatic moves with the board. WEDC will seek new leadership in a national search as Paul Jadin, former WEDC CEO, jumped ship to run Thrive, the economic development partnership for the Madison area.

Members of the Wauwatosa Community Development Authority favor a mixed-use development proposed by Phelan Development and WiRED Properties for a vacant former fire station site at 1463 Underwood Ave. in the downtown village area.
