New hires and promotions

Scott Fischer has joined The Marcus Corporation as director of tax. He has 17 years of experience with federal and state income taxes, complex structuring and tax planning strategies and public company requirements. Fischer most recently served as director of tax for Stark Investments. He holds a master’s in taxation and a bachelor’s in accounting, both from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a CPA.

Jill Haupt has joined Johnson Financial Group as senior vice president-private banking manager. She has more than 25 years of management experience, most recently as vice president at BMO Harris Bank. Haupt will provide expertise on continued development and implementation of private banking strategies to deliver the best value and experience for customers. She holds bachelor’s degrees in communication and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Alex Kramer has been named a wealth management advisor managing director at The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank in Milwaukee. Kramer will lead a wealth management advisor team. He has 16 years of financial service experience, most recently as head of sales for Johnson Bank Wealth Management. Kramer, CFP, holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s in history from Miami University.

Steve Laczniak has joined Brass Ring Capital in Milwaukee as a principal. He has served as an analyst at Golden Angels Investors and Keane D’Souza Venture Capital in Milwaukee. Laczniak holds four advanced degrees.

Tony Laszewski has been named a senior vice president and manager of commercial lending at Waukesha State Bank. In the newly-created position, he will manage the bank’s commercial bankers in personal development, sales planning, lead generation and customer cultivation and also supervise new business development and penetration into new markets. Laszewski has 23 years of experience in finance and banking, most recently as senior vice president and team leader at TCF National Bank. He holds an MBA from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a bachelor’s in managerial accounting and business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Monica Stern has been appointed to the First Bank Financial Centre board of directors. She has a range of experience in auditing financial services organizations and in banking. Stern worked at Ernst and Young LLP in Milwaukee for 12 years, most recently as sr. manager. She holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a CPA.

Sandy Winkler and Sibrina Gregory have been named loan servicing specialists at Ridgestone Bank in Brookfield. They will support the bank’s growing SBA loan portfolio.
