Cities and Villages Mutual Insurance to remodel former Grede HQ building
Cities and Villages Mutual Insurance Company has hired Waukesha-based The Redmond Company, to design and do the construction work for a remodeling of the insurance company’s two-story, 25,000-square-foot office building at 9898 W. Bluemound Road in Wauwatosa. The project is expected to begin in November and be complete in February.
The building was formerly the headquarters for Grede Foundries. Cities and Villages Mutual Insurance Co. recently purchased the building for $1.55 million, or $62.76 per square foot. Cities and Village Mutual will move its headquarters to the building from its current location at 1250 S. Sunny Slope Road, Brookfield, where it occupies 6,700 square feet of space. Grede moved out of the Bluemound Road building recently.
