Milwaukee will get Coyote Ugly

Learn more about:

The Coyote Ugly Saloon chain will open its next U.S. location in downtown Milwaukee’s Water Street tavern district.
The new bar will be located at 1131 N. Water St;, the former site of Tequila Rita’s and the Terrace Bar.
The grand opening is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 9 p.m. The general public is invited.
Coyote Ugly Saloon founder Liliana "Lil" Lovell said, "I’m so excited to open in Milwaukee. Coyote Ugly’s roots are beer drinkers and motorcycles, and I have feeling there are few of those in Milwaukee. Water Street is Milwaukee’s famous entertainment district and as the most famous bar on the planet, the new Coyote Ugly Saloon will be in the heart of it all."
Lovell also announced the dates for the "Coyote Search," where “talented, sexy and witty” applicants are invited to tryout for the limited number of "Coyote" bartending positions. The search will be held Feb. 4 and 5, 12 noon to 5 p.m. at the Milwaukee location. Applicants should be 21 years old or older.
Lovell opened the first Coyote Ugly Saloon in New York’s East Village in 1993. In 2000 the movie "Coyote Ugly", which was based on the New York Coyote Ugly Saloon, was released. The company plans to open 16 more locations.
