The Milwaukee Bucks have a longstanding history with the City of Milwaukee.
Founded in 1968, the team earned the distinction of becoming the fastest to rise from expansion team to champion after winning the NBA Championship in 1971.
The Bucks will celebrate 50 seasons in the NBA in 2018. The organization continues to undergo rapid growth and expansion in the ever-changing landscape that is the NBA.
A brand new Bucks arena is scheduled to open in the fall of 2018 in downtown Milwaukee. The Bucks’ arena and the surrounding buildings are poised to anchor a new entertainment district for Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee Bucks have already opened a new practice facility and a new team training facility in partnership with Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.
The team also launched its own NBA G League team, The Wisconsin Herd, which will begin its first season in Oshkosh this November.
Where is the opportunity?
“With the new arena being built, the team is rapidly expanding into an entertainment company that operates its own arena. This means there will be many opportunities for the Bucks to expand into concerts, shows and entertainment events at the new arena.”
