Menasha Corp. is expanding its 210,000 square foot graphics facility in Hartford by about 59,000 square feet. The company began the expansion project about three weeks ago and expects it to be fully operational by May or June of next year, said Todd Price, operations manager.
“Hartford is our graphics facility and we’ve had high growth in that area,” he said. “We have had some capacity issues over the last couple of years. (The company) has some strategic goals to grow that segment, and to do that we will need additional capacity.”
Menasha now has more than 130 employees in Hartford. The expansion is expected to create 16 new positions when it is operational and in full production. Hiring for the new positions will begin early next year.
The company’s Hartford facility produces end-of-aisle marketing displays used in retail stores such as grocery stores and big-box electronics stores. The expansion project is an approximate $4 million investment, Price said.
