The primary requirement of achieving a Well City USA designation is that 20 percent of a community’s working population must be employed by Well Workplace Award-winning companies.

Milwaukee currently has 52 employer member companies that represent 90,000 employees working toward Well Work Place accreditation.

According to Well City Milwaukee executive director Janet McMahon, Milwaukee has set a goal to become a recognized Well City in 2010.
