Master Z’s is the largest pool table and billiard retail store in Wisconsin, at 15,000 square feet, with a 15,000-square-foot warehouse across the street. It sells tables and accessories for pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, poker and table tennis, as well as darts and dartboards, bars and barstools, patio furniture and other game equipment.

Legends of the Field has locations in Greenfield and Delafield and specializes in authentic sports collectibles and athlete appearances. It is majority owned by serial entrepreneur Jim Lindenberg, the former owner of Waukesha-based World Class Wire and Cable and the Milwaukee Wave, who now serves as president and chief executive officer of Legends.

Master Z’s has six full-time and four part-time employees. Legends has six full-time and two part-time employees. Lindenberg plans to hire another three to four employees after the acquisition is complete.

“The products really complement each other,” Lindenberg said. “Sports memorabilia and pool tables and ping pongs and patio furniture have similar customers. By combining the businesses, it will make it easier for the customers to go to one place and buy everything.”

Lindenberg said he continues to look at other acquisition opportunities to expand the company’s product and service offerings.
