Milwaukee-based von Briesen & Roper, s.c., has named Andrew Guzikowski shareholder and will chair the firm’s newly formed Public Finance Section. The section will assist banks, businesses, hospitals and health care systems, municipalities and school districts with public finance, bonding and tax-exempt financing needs.

Guzikowski has more than twenty years of experience in public finance. He has served as bond counsel and issued the approving bond/tax opinions in over $600 million of tax-exempt bond issues that financed municipalities, school districts, manufacturing facilities, educational facilities and health care entities. He has served as underwriter’s counsel in bond offerings and as counsel to bond issuers, borrowers, including non-profit organizations, purchasers and credit enhancement/liquidity facility providers in connection with municipal and other tax-exempt bond issues.
