Kahler Slater celebrates its 100th anniversary

Milwaukee-based architectural firm Kahler Slater celebrated its 100th anniversary Tuesday night with an event at the Milwaukee Art Museum. The Santiago Calatrava-designed Quadracci Pavilion at the art museum is just one of the many buildings that Kahler Slater has designed over the years. Other notable design projects by the firm include: the Allen-Bradley complex (including the clock tower), the Marquette University School of Dentistry, the Petit National Ice Center, the Bradley Center, the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, the Sixth Street Bridge, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Golda Meir Central Library and the Hilton Milwaukee City Center hotel.
