Holiday Inn completes renovation

The Holiday Inn Milwaukee City Centre at 611 W. Wisconsin Ave. has finished a $1.8 million renovation.
The renovation included all 248-guest rooms, with new custom-designed furniture, fixtures, artwork, soft goods, drapes, and carpeting. Also, each room is now equipped with two, two-lined phones, allowing guests to work on their personal computers and be able to make call simultaneously. The ballroom has been renovated with new carpeting, drapes, artwork and chandeliers.
“In a time where many hotels are cutting back, reducing staff, postponing additions or renovations due to the national crisis, it has been the continued success of the Holiday Inn Milwaukee City Centre and the desire to position our hotel even higher in the upper echelon of Milwaukee hotels that has allowed us to undergo such an exciting project such as this $1.8 million renovation,” said Jeffery Arman, general manager.
“Exciting things are happening in downtown Milwaukee,” Arman said. “Our renovation will only compliment the other downtown improvements. With a strong working relationship with the Greater Milwaukee Convention & Visitor Bureau and the Midwest Express Center, we will also further enhance what Milwaukee has to offer to prospective citywide conventions looking for a host convention city.”
