Ordinary people doing extraordinary things. That’s the essence of the Health Care Heroes Awards program.
Although we’re only in the third year of this program, Health Care Heroes is becoming a sort of Milwaukee holiday tradition. The program continues to grow, and it attracted more than 50 nominations this year. That made the task of judging extremely difficult for our distinguished panel of judges. I would like to personally thank them for taking time out of their very busy schedules to read
through the nominations and select this year’s winners.
The judges include:
• Dr. Randall Lambrecht, dean of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Health Sciences.
• Karen Ordinans, executive director of the Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin.
• Dr. Sarah Pratt, a pediatrician who is the past president of the Medical Society of Milwaukee County Board of Directors and a current member of the Wisconsin Medical Society Board of Directors.
• Connie Roethel, R.N., wellness expert and president of Core Health Group in Mequon.
