Harris Bank has named Dan Barron as the regional president of Harris’  Wisconsin-North region.

Barron will be responsible for 14 branches in Ozaukee, Washington and Sheboygan counties and will be based out of Harris’ Cedarburg branch.

Barron most recently served as regional president of Harris’ northeast Illinois operations, where he oversaw financial growth, including developing and implementing marketing strategies for seven branches.

In his new role, Barron is charged with managing and growing the profitability of his branches, coaching and leading a team of more than 100 employees, and raising awareness of Harris in local communities.

"With nearly 14 years at Harris and more than 27 years of financial services experience, Dan has demonstrated his commitment to providing an excellent customer experience and being actively involved in the communities he serves," said Tom Bolger, Harris district executive in Wisconsin. "His proven expertise will help further develop our presence in this important region."

Before joining Harris, Barron held managerial positions at LaSalle Bank, Michigan National Bank and NBD Grand Valley Bank.

Harris is a subsidiary of Chicago-based Harris Financial Corp.
