Kenosha’s Best Western Harborside Inn & Kenosha Conference Center has been sold for $3.8 million and converted to a Wyndham Garden Hotel.

The 111-room hotel, located downtown and near the lakefront at 5125 6th Ave., was recently renovated and sold on Oct. 27 to KAS Real Estate Holdings, according to state real estate records.

It is individually owned and operated under a franchise agreement by Rajiv Singh, of Oak Brook, Ill., said Kathryn Zambito, spokesperson for Wyndham Hotel Group. Wyndham did not purchase the hotel.

Singh could not immediately be reached for comment.

The Kenosha Best Western Harborside had been closed numerous times prior to the sale for renovations, according to the hotel’s Facebook page. The property was sold by Mayra Kenosha Inc.
