The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin have been added to the provider network of Network Health, the Menasha-based health insurance company, which serves 137,000 members.
“The face of insurance and providers in the state of Wisconsin is evolving,” said Network Health President Sheila Jenkins. “Network Health, together with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin, are leading the way.”
Members will have access to Children’s Hospital providers in the Fox Valley starting Oct. 1 and to Children’s Hospital providers and services in Milwaukee and other locations around the state beginning Jan. 1.
“We are pleased that additional families in northeast Wisconsin now have access to the best pediatric care available in our state,” said Peggy Troy, president and chief executive officer of the Children’s Hospital. “We are committed to serving the needs of northeast Wisconsin children and their families.”
Also effective Jan. 1, Network Health members will have access to specialty care through Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network’s academic medical center in Milwaukee.
“We at the Medical College of Wisconsin welcome the opportunity to provide Network Health members with access to MCW faculty physicians, who provide pediatric and adult specialty care at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital,” said Dr. John Raymond, Sr., MCW’s president and chief executive officer.
