Malvern, Pa.-based Liberty Property Trust, a real estate investment trust, held a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday to celebrate the start of construction of a 171,114-square-foot speculative industrial building at 10020 S. Reinhart Dr. in Oak Creek.

Milwaukee area construction costs trend upward

Local construction labor, material and equipment costs in the Milwaukee area have increased 5.8 percent year-over-year compared to 3.9 percent growth nationally, according to Mortenson Construction's quarterly Construction Cost Index report, released today.
