BMO Harris Bank has donated a $35,000 grant to the Zoological Society of Milwaukee to benefit its conservation programs, public education initiatives and support of the Milwaukee County Zoo, the bank announced Thursday.
Red Kettle Campaign starts today
The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County is kick starting its Red Kettle Christmas Campaign today with a goal to raise $3 million dollars to support more than 80 programs and services including meals to the homeless, care to seniors and veterans, and emergency shelter and emergency disaster relief.
American Red Cross seeks donations for Hurricane Sandy relief
The United Way of Greater Milwaukee’s Executive Committee voted to make an immediate $25,000 grant to the American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin, funding which will help the organization deploy volunteers to the East Coast to help in the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
