Snap-On Q1 earnings up 16.6%
Kenosha-based tool and equipment manufacturer Snap-On Inc. today reported first quarter net earnings of $82.8 million, or $1.40 per diluted share, up 16.6 percent from net earnings of $71 million, or $1.2 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2012.
Kendall Packaging to expand Jefferson plant
Mequon-based Kendall Packaging Corp. will break ground on a 56,000-square-foot expansion to its plant in Jefferson on April 26.
Chinese medicine company signs deal to purchase Wisconsin ginseng
On a trade mission to China, Gov. Scott Walker announced that the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin has signed an agreement with a Chinese medicine company to use the Trademark Seal on their purchases of Wisconsin ginseng from the Ginseng & Herb Coop over the next ten years.
