AIDS Resource Center merges with AIDS Network, expands pharmacy
The Milwaukee-based AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin will merge with the Madison-based AIDS Network on Feb. 1 in a move that leaders from both organizations say will preserve continuity of care for patients and clients.
170,000 Wisconsin residents enroll in Health Insurance Marketplace
According to a report released today by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 169,704 people in Wisconsin have selected plans through the Health Insurance Marketplace as of Jan. 9. That is up from 92,398 who enrolled by Dec. 15 for coverage beginning Jan. 1.
Anthem names Medicaid health plan president
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wisconsin has named Leon Lamoreaux the new president of its Medicaid health plan, effective Jan. 12. In this newly created position, Lamoreaux will be responsible for leading the Medicaid business, focusing on long-term growth opportunities for Anthem Medicaid in the state of Wisconsin.

Robert Topp, associate dean for research at Marquette University, was one of 18 health care professionals appointed to Performance Health Academy's 2015 Scientific Advisory Committee. The committee represents five countries and expertise in physical therapy, chiropractic, exercise science, athletic training and massage therapy. Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, Performance Health is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of branded rehabilitation and wellness products.
