The City of Milwaukee's Office of Environmental Sustainability partnered with Rock the Green to hold the third annual "Milwaukee's Earth Day Celebration" on April 22 in downtown Milwaukee. The celebration featured a variety of onsite eco-friendly efforts, including reclamation stations facilitated by Waste Management, sustainable and organic lunches, a bicycle pedal-powered stage, and eco-educational booths staffed by event sponsors and organizations. The celebration also included addresses from community leaders about ongoing sustainability initiatives. Telkonet reports 2013 loss

Milwaukee-based Telkonet Inc. today reported a 2013 net loss of $3.9 million, or a 4 cent loss per share, down from net income of $390,000, or no earnings per share, in 2012.
