Glendale-based Johnson Controls Inc. today reported fourth quarter fiscal 2014 net income of $346 million, or 46 cents per share, up from $139 million, or 15 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Cool summer, acquisition weigh on Wisconsin Energy

Milwaukee-based Wisconsin Energy Corp. today reported third quarter net income of $126.3 million, or 56 cents per share, down from $137.5 million, or 60 cents per share, in the third quarter of 2013.

Fiserv reports record quarter

Brookfield-based Fiserv Inc. reported third quarter net income of $239 million, or 95 cents per share, up from $159 million, or 61 cents per share, in the third quarter of 2013.

Kraft acquires Berkshire Hathaway marketing division

Milwaukee businessman Bobby Kraft and an investor group have acquired World Marketing Inc., the marketing and direct mail division of Omaha, Neb.-based Berkshire Hathaway's Media Group. The investors will move World Marketing's headquarters and administrative operations to Milwaukee.

Regional banks report flat quarterly results

Three regional banks with a strong Milwaukee market presence have reported flat or slightly lower net income in their third quarter earnings reports.

Waukesha-based Generac Power Systems has acquired some assets of Kearney, Neb.-based Pramac America LLC, from Siena, Italy-based Pramac Industries Inc.
