Modine earnings down on restructuring costs, mixed sales results
Racine-based Modine Manufacturing Co. reported fiscal 2015 second quarter net earnings of $2 million, or 4 cents per share, down from 5 million, or 10 cents per share, in the second quarter of 2014.
Johnson Controls fourth quarter, annual earnings up
Glendale-based Johnson Controls Inc. reported fourth quarter fiscal 2014 net income of $346 million, or 46 cents per share, up from $139 million, or 15 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Prolitec provides technology for Venice “scent sculptures”
Milwaukee-based Prolitec Inc., which manufactures ambient scenting and odor remediation solutions, is providing the technology behind five "scent sculptures" for the United States Pavilion’s “OfficeUS” exhibition at the Venice Architecture Biennale. The exhibition runs through Nov. 23.
Low interest financing available for clean energy projects
Companies interested in investing in energy efficiency and waste reduction projects can apply for low interest financing by Monday, Dec. 8. The funding is available from the new Wisconsin’s Clean Energy Manufacturing Revolving Loan Fund (CERLF), a program jointly managed by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and the Wisconsin Department of Administration.

Great Lakes Distillery releases limited bottling
Milwaukee-based Great Lakes Distillery, Wisconsin's oldest distillery, has announced the release of Rehorst Barrel Reserve Gin, a limited bottling with 400 bottles produced monthly.

Xtreme Stainless LLC, a metal fabrication firm located in Sussex, is building a facility in Germantown nearly twice as large as originally planned.
Rexnord to acquire Indian disc coupling maker
Milwaukee-based Rexnord Corp. announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Euroflex Transmissions Private Ltd. Euroflex serves global original equipment manufacturers from its base in Hyderabad, India, and has annual revenues of approximately $16 million. Closing is anticipated this month.
