It’s been awhile since a driver pulled up to the Quick-n-Save, 256 W. State St., to fill up their gas tanks and grab a soda.
Located on the edge of downtown, in the middle of the busy intersection where West State Street meets Milwaukee Avenue, the gas station and convenience store has been shuttered for years.
