Harley-Davidson Museum hosts Chef Challenge
The Harley- Davidson Museum will host the Chef Grill Challenge on Tuesdays during the month of June. Chef competitions will include mystery boxes of ingredients, judges and prizes similar to the Food Network’s Iron Chef.
Competitors will have one hour to plan, prepare and grill one entrée for the judges. They will be judged on flavor and taste, use of ingredients, creativity and presentation.
Attendees to the event will have a chance to act as judges for the event.
The event will take place outside the Harley-Davidson Museum, under the overhang on the south side of the archives building, 400 W. Canal Street, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Three local HOG chapters will nominate their worst griller to be paired with a celebrity chef on the three nights. That chef will instruct the HOG member, but will not be allowed to do any of the actual cooking.
The celebrity chefs for the event will be Leo Domiquez, executive chef at Lambeau Field on June 8; Peter Gebauer, executive chef at Potawatomi Bingo Casino on June 15 and Dave Hamm, executive chef at the Bradley Center on June 22.
The grand prize winner will receive the Top Hog trophy and a $250 gift certificate to Motor Bar & Restaurant after the final week.

Last Chance to see Raphael exhibit at Art Museum
One of the most celebrated paintings of the Italian Renaissance, Raphael: The Woman with the Veil (La Donna Velata), is on view at the Milwaukee Art Museum until Sunday, June 6.
It was completed in 1516, and was once considered to be the most famous painting in the world.
“We understand that TheWoman with the Veil will not leave Florence again for many years because of its artistic and cultural significance,” said Laurie Winters, director of exhibitions for the Milwaukee Art Museum.
The Milwaukee Art Museum is the final stop on a tour of three museums in the country for the painting. After Sunday, the painting will return to Italy where it will likely not leave again for many years.
Raphael died at the age of 37, just four years after he completed The Woman with the Veil in response to Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. The portrait depicts his own idea of female beauty.
