Hartford-based Broan-NuTone recently opened its first showroom in China along with a new Asia Pacific operations center.
The company said today that Broan Building Products China held a grand opening of the facility in December.
“The opening of this showroom celebrates Broan’s role as a global leader in home air quality,” said Jeff Mueller, Broan-NuTone president. “It also exemplifies Broan’s dedication to develop and provide products that ensure Chinese consumers have quality, fresh air in their homes.”
The company also donated 20 air purifiers to a youth center in Shanghai and invited 60 children to visit the showroom and learn about air quality.
Broan-NuTone is a manufacturer and distributor of residential ventilation products and is a subsidiary of Nortek, Inc. The company has operations in Canada, Italy, Chile, Australia, Poland, Mexico and China.
