Riteway Bus Service Inc.
Washington County renewed a contract to Riteway Bus Service Inc., Richfield, to continue operating the Washington County Commuter Express (WCCE). The WCCE provides bus transportation to Washington County residents commuting to and from the metropolitan Milwaukee area. Riteway has provided bus transportation for the WCCE program since its inception in 1999. Under the terms of the new contract, Riteway will
operate the WCCE service through June 1, 2007, with an option to renew for five years. Riteway also operates the WCCE’s expanded service to Wisconsin State Fair Park, West Allis, during the Wisconsin State Fair.
Catral Doyle Creative Co.
Catral Doyle Creative Co., Milwaukee, launched the redesign of Glue Dots brand adhesive products for Glue Dots International, New Berlin. The goal of the redesign was for greater penetration into the general consumer market. Catral Doyle Creative redesigned the Glue Dots packaging, Web site, print materials, point-of-purchase displays and trade show exhibits as part of the re-branding effort.
Medical College of Wisconsin and Marquette Medical Alumni Association
Dr. Anthony Ziebert received the 2006 Distinguished Service Award from the Medical College of Wisconsin and Marquette Medical Alumni Association, Wauwatosa. Ziebert was recognized for his service to the community, his profession and his alma mater. Ziebert graduated from the Marquette University School of Medicine in 1960. The Marquette University School of Medicine became the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1967. Ziebert completed his residency and fellowship at Marquette and served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969. He practiced general internal medicine in West Allis for 31 years. Ziebert previously served as president of the Milwaukee County Medical Society, the Wisconsin Society of Internal Medicine and the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine and as chief of staff at West Allis Memorial Hospital. Ziebert served on the Alumni Association board of directors from 1999 to 2005.
Concordia University Wisconsin
Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, will open an adult education program in Wausau this fall. Concordia currently has 17 adult education centers in Wisconsin. Degrees available in Concordia’s adult education program include human resource management, business management, criminal justice management and liberal arts. Concordia’s master’s degree in business administration program will also be offered at the center. Courses will begin in September and will be conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Classes will meet one evening per week for a four hour session. Students will be able to earn three credits in four to six weeks. Transfer credits, as well as credits for experiential learning, will also be accepted.
The United Community Center
The United Community Center, Milwaukee, was named one of the Top 25 Hispanic non-profits in the U.S. by Hispanic Business Magazine. The United Community Center was the only Milwaukee area non-profit organization to be included in the list. The annual list includes non-profits with the largest operational budget and quality and variety of services to meet the needs of Hispanics.
Aurora Health Care Inc.
Aurora Health Care Inc., Milwaukee, recently opened the Aurora Pharmacy in Racine, located at 3900 Erie St. The pharmacy is the 14th Aurora Quick Care facility in Wisconsin. A typical visit to an Aurora Quick Care site takes 15 minutes and costs $39. Quick Care is an option for people who might otherwise seek emergency or urgent care for non-emergency medical conditions. Services provided and ailments treated at the Aurora Pharmacy include: severe soar throat, ear infection, sinus infection, seasonal allergies, pink eye, mononucleosis, minor rashes, ringworm, bladder infection, bronchitis, pregnancy, cholesterol screening, swimmer’s ear, poison ivy, insect stings, diabetes screenings and motion sickness.

Ideal Financial Services, Brookfield, opened a Mequon office, located at 10535 N. Port Washington Road. The Mequon location is Ideal Financial’s fifth office location in the Midwest. John Ristau joined the Mequon office as vice president and general manager. Ristau has four years of experience in the mortgage industry and 15 years of sales experience. Ristau previously worked for AmeriQuest Mortgage Co., Orange, Calif.
Crispell-Snyder Inc.
Crispell-Snyder Inc., Lake Geneva will provide general engineering services, planning and construction related services for the Town of Richfield. Ronald Dalton, vice president and branch manager for the Germantown location of Crispell Snyder will serve as the town engineer for Richfield.
Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership
The Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP), Madison, received the Innovator of the Year Award from the National Institute of Standards & Technology’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP) for its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and supplier development initiative. WMEP’s approach uses lean manufacturing
techniques to identify and then address areas of improvement in the amount of time it takes for order fulfillment. In the first year of a pilot project, 16 Wisconsin-based suppliers reduced lead times an average of 53 percent. WMEP award recipients include, Michael Klonsinski, executive director of WMEP; Roxanne Baumann, director of the OEM initiative and Michael Hablewitz, director of the supply chain group. Founding OEM participants include Deere & Co., Moline, Ill.; Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh and Harley-Davidson Motor Co., Milwaukee.

KeyLink Solutions, Germantown, recently changed its name to Conservent Benefit Plan Administrators. The proprietary software company Visual Claims changed its name to Virtual Benefits Administrator. Conservent is currently in the process of adding products and
services to its offerings.

Creative Constructors LLC
Creative Constructors LLC, Menomonee Falls, received the Perfect Safety Award from the Association of General Contractors (AGC) of Greater Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Construction Industry Safety Council. Creative Constructors received the award for achieving a perfect construction safety record. Creative Constructors has received this award for seven consecutive years.
