What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of?
"I do a lot of cardio excersises each week. Eliptical Trainers, Spin and Racquetball. Mix in weight training 2 days a week."

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
"It helps reduce stress."

How does personal fitness affect your work life?
"The better I feel personally reflects greatly on my employees. When I’m in a bad mood, not feeling well, sluggish, my employees notice. They feed off my attitude. If I can get a workout in during the lunch hour, my afternoon seems to be more productive."

Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?
"No."

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
"Obviously corporate wellness is important these days with the rising cost of health care. Healthy people use less health benefits than sick people. Healthy people are more productive."

What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
"For personal fitness, I would recommend the use of a personal trainer. That person can keep you motivated and guide you with proper workout techniques."
