A group of rural Campbellsport residents want to stop a proposed plan to build a sand mine that would flank a network of subdivisions, citing wildlife risk, noise and a host of other issues.
Residents turned up in droves in May when the Town of Ashford Village Board first heard Batzler Trucking Co.’s plan to use land owned by Michael Wiesner to build a nonmetallic sand mine.
