Seda International Packaging Group Park 94 deal announced
Naples, Italy-based Seda International Group SpA has purchased a 323,610-square-foot building in the Park 94 development at 12501 Globe Dr., Mt. Pleasant, from Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate. The deal was first reported by BizTimes Real Estate Weekly two weeks ago.
Seda is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of packaging for food industries. The company plans to make a $76 million local investment and will create almost 200 jobs.
“We decided on Park 94 at Mt. Pleasant as our first U.S. facility because it offered a state-of-the-art, LEED-certified expandable facility in a strategically valuable location,” said Gianfranco D’Amato, managing director of Seda. “Also, the park will give our employees a high-quality work environment in an attractive community.”
HSA built Park 94, which consists of two buildings with a total of 448,610 square feet of industrial space industrial space, on an 83-acre site southwest of Highway 20 and County Highway V.
David Bercu, David Liebman and Brendan Green of Colliers International and Ken Braden of Cassidy Turley Barry represented HSA, James Babiasz and Patrick Dedering of The Boerke Company represented Seda in brokering the sale.

BWAY Packaging expands Sturtevant lease by 59,000 square feet
BWAY Packaging has renewed its lease at 10277 Venice Dr., Sturtevant, and is expanding its lease there to 159,375 square feet of space. The company previously leased 100,000 square feet in the building. The 198,875-square-foot building is owned by Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate. It was built in 2003 and purchased by HSA in 2008. HSA’s Brown Deer office, led by asset manager Dion Watton, handled the lease transaction.

Nonprofit leases 39,000 square feet at Summit Place
Integrated Family Services recently signed a lease for 39,000 square feet of space at the Summit Place office complex at 6737 W. Washington St. in West Allis. Integrated Family Services is a subsidiary of St. Aemilian-Lakeside. It provides case management and safety services for the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare.
Integrated Family Services will move its operations from 2745 S. 13th St. in Milwaukee and 1205 S. 70th St. in West Allis to the Summit Place space.
The space was formerly occupied by Blue Cross Blue Shield, which has reduced its footprint at Summit Place.
The lease was brokered by Lyle Landowski and Scott Welsh of Inland Companies, who represented Integrated Family Services.
