To commemorate its 100th anniversary, Actuant Corp. commissioned Milwaukee historian John Gurda to write a history of the company – which highlights its humble beginnings in Milwaukee, and its early connections to some of the other large manufacturers in metro Milwaukee.
More importantly, “The Drive To Lead” shows the importance that innovation and new product development has played in the several different companies that eventually became Actuant.
