Longtime friends and business partners Paul Riedl, chief executive officer, and Joe Skotarzak, president, of Glendale-based River Run Computers Inc., encourage their staff to focus on short term goals in order to meet long term goals.
“Goals are critical, that’s the bottom line,” Skotarzak said. “We put a lot of time and energy into goals.”
Riedl and Skotarzak place a high value on their clientele’s insight and allowed for their network infrastructure of Total Network Management to assist with their individual growth.
Regularly Scheduled Visit Program (RSVP) was the only service offered to River Run’s clientele until the introduction of Automated Remote Management Service (ARMS) which monitors and manages clients around the clock.
River Run Computers also has an online help desk support program to ensure clients’ needs are met in the event of an emergency as well as a Vulnerability Assessment Scan so River Run can detect any vulnerability in a client’s network and address them accordingly.
In the past year, Riedl and Skotarzak saw a major need to change the relationship with their clients. Many clients faced budget cuts, and River Run worked to maintain clients by cutting costs as much as possible while maintaining network stability.
The past year also saw major developments to the River Run website, including the addition of a Technology Resource Library for clients to access technology whitepapers and a blog to educated clients on the latest technological innovations.
Riedl and Skotarzak lead their company by setting the bar high, demonstrating the possibility of reaching difficult goals, listening to clients’ needs and continually offering new services to their clients.
