Towne Investments, a division of Milwaukee-based Zilber Ltd., recently purchased the corporate headquarters for Expedited Freight Systems Inc. (EFS). The 22,763-square-foot truck terminal and office building is located in the Kenosha Industrial Park.
Towne Investments plans to build a 7,200-square-foot addition onto the building and said it will do other building renovations.
“The property’s I-94 corridor location, along with EFS’ long-term commitment to the facility made it an ideal addition to Towne Investments’ growing industrial portfolio,” said John Kersey, executive vice president of Zilber Ltd.
Steve Anderson and Nicole Hohnstein of NAI MLG Commercial represented the seller in the transaction.
Kenosha-based Riley Construction Company and Kenosha-based Partners in Design Architects will provide construction and design services for the expansion project.
