‘Hoppy Hours’ to fight leukemia & lymphoma

Beginning on Thursday March 24, and repeating for nine consecutive Thursdays, until May 19, Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery will raise awareness and money for the fight against leukemia and lymphoma (L&L).

The Thursday events will be hosted by Best Place owners Jim and Karen Haertel, and proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Every Thursday at the pub in downtown Milwaukee will start with “Hoppy Hour” from 4 to 6 p.m. Jim Haertel will give a 15-minute “Mini Pabst History Tour” at 6 p.m., with a brief talk about the need to raise funds for the fight against cancer and L&L.
