The Ritterbusch Group, Brookfield, has promoted Marc Whitney to account supervisor. Whitney has more than 20 years of marketing and public relations experience in a wide range of industries, including health care, sports and membership associations.
Scheibel Halaska, Milwaukee, has promoted Amanda Payne to account manager and Elizabeth Franczyk to account executive. Payne joined the agency in 2011 and most recently held the role of senior account executive. Franczyk joined the agency in 2011 and most recently held the role of account coordinator.
Nelson Schmidt Inc., Milwaukee, has named Brandon Tushkowski as a creative director. Tushkowski has more than 11 years of experience in creative design. He joins Nelson Schmidt from Laughlin Constable, where he was an associate creative director.

PDC Midwest, Inc., Hartland, has hired Michael Fortuna, Assoc. AIA, LEED GA as a new design associate. Fortuna previously operated a design firm where he worked on a variety of residential and small commercial building projects.
Milwaukee-based Continuum Architects + Planners announced that three long-term employees have been promoted to principals. They include: Corey Lapworth, Michael Soto and Daniel Beyer.
Banking & Finance
Associated Banc-Corp has hired six new leaders in the Milwaukee area. They include: Christina Gladczak, vice president, sales and marketing integration manager in the wealth management division; Fred Jarosinski, vice president, database administrator serving as Associated’s lead data warehouse developer; Robert Laszkiewicz, vice president, senior business analyst; John McVoy, vice president, regulatory change and facilitation manager; and Lisa Scace, vice president, bank at work business development officer. In addition to these hires, Neal Lindquist has been promoted to senior vice president, regional senior credit manager. All six are located in downtown Milwaukee.
Ridgestone Bank, Brookfield, has added Kim Gordon as vice president deputy chief credit officer. Gordon will oversee the organization’s SBA credit function and SBA CAPLine program. She has more than 20 years of commercial lending experience to Ridgestone Bank, having served in senior credit officer positions at commercial finance companies throughout the Chicago area.

Greg Krahn has joined Poblocki Paving Corp., Milwaukee, as project manager and engineer. Prior to joining Poblocki, Krahn spent six years with another paving contractor.
Greenfire Management Services LLC, Milwaukee, announced that Matt Cool and Oliver Miotke have joined the construction management firm in superintendent roles. Cool, appointed as a senior superintendent, has more than 15 years of construction management experience in the Midwest. Miotke joins as a general superintendent. He also has 15 years of experience.
Education
Matthew Levatich, president and chief operating officer of Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson Inc., has been named to the MSOE Board of Regents. Levatich joined Harley-Davidson in 1994 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the U.S. and Europe, including vice president and general manager of Harley’s parts and accessories business, vice president of materials management, and president and managing director of MV Agusta. Prior to joining Harley-Davidson, Levatich held positions with FMC Corp. and Albany International Corp. in engineering and in manufacturing management.
Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Wauwatosa, has named Linda Sweek director of communications. Sweek has more than 20 years of strategic planning, public relations, marketing and branding, employee and leadership communications, web and social media expertise. Recently Sweek worked for Herzing University as the director of brand management and communications and prior to that she was director of internal communications at Aurora Health Care.
Dr. Allison Hyngstrom, assistant professor of physical therapy in the College of Health Sciences at Marquette University, will be honored with the 2012 Eugene Michels New Investigator Award from the American Physical Therapy Association. Hyngstrom has been a faculty member at Marquette since 2008. The Eugene Michels New Investigator Award recognizes physical therapists employed in any aspect of the profession who have been engaged in independent research activities for less than five years after completion of their first physical therapy professional degree, post-professional doctoral degree or post-professional doctoral fellowship. Nominees must have demonstrated their accomplishments through primary authorships in peer reviewed journals, have completed activities that encompass a specific research theme, and have demonstrated a relationship between their research theme and the field of physical therapy. Hyngstrom will be presented with the award by the American Physical Therapy Association’s Board of Directors in June.

R.A. Smith National, Brookfield, has added Ryan Lentz as a civil engineer in the land development services division. Lentz has more than 15 years of experience as a civil engineer, including private development site design, public works infrastructure design, storm water management, municipal engineering, soil and water conservation and construction management.
Food Service
Sandstone Foodservice Group, West Milwaukee, has added Terry Hoelle as vice president of sales. She has more than 23 years of food service experience. In addition, Kevin Vigeant was promoted to executive vice president of Alluserv, the company’s health care foodservice division. Vigeant will hold this position in addition to maintaining his current role as vice president of business development at Sandstone Foodservice Group.

Marcus Theatres, a division of Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp. has promoted Mark Gramz and Jeff Tomachek to executive vice president. Gramz has more 40 years of experience with Marcus Theatres. He started with the company in 1971 as a part-time associate and rose through the ranks in positions including general manager and area supervisor, culminating in his promotion to senior vice president of operations in 2001. Tomachek began his career with The Marcus Corp. in 1998 as controller for Marcus Theatres and in 2001 moved to the company’s former Baymont Inns & Suites division, where he served as vice president of accounting and finance. He returned to Marcus Theatres in 2004 as vice president of finance, planning and development.
Lake Lawn Resort, Delavan, has hired Gerard Prendergast as food and beverage director. He has 17 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Prendergast will oversee various operations at the resort’s premier Frontier Restaurant, as well as the Lookout Bar and Eatery.

Milwaukee-based M3 Insurance has named Starie Thompson an account manager specializing in small business employee benefits, and Cy Kondrick as an employee benefits support specialist. Thompson previously worked for five years at MJ Care, Milwaukee, as a benefits specialist.
Interior Design
Milwaukee-based Interior Systems Inc., a provider of interior design, branding, seating and decor for the restaurant, retail and education industries, has named Tony Lutz as its new president and chief executive officer. Founder and former president and CEO Lindsey Bovinet is actively continuing with the company as chairman.
Legal Services
James Peterson, partner in Foley & Lardner LLP’s Milwaukee office, has been named the recipient of the Wisconsin Law Foundation’s 2012 Donald O’Melia Local Service Award. This award recognizes a lawyer who has made a significant public service contribution to the community. Peterson has shown leadership and dedication toward serving the community through his long record of service to several non-profit organizations, including St. Aemilian-Lakeside and its two subsidiaries, Integrated Family Services Inc. (IFS) and Capitol West Academy.
The Schroeder Group, Waukesha has added Ben Menzel as an attorney. He has 10 years of civil litigation, commercial and business litigation and debtor/creditor rights. In addition, Melissa Mautz was also named a legal assistant and Jim Reiher was also added as an attorney in the firm. Reiher has more than 35 years of experience in employment law, civil litigation, personal injury claims and defense, product liability and insurance disputes.
Larraine McNamara-McGraw, a veteran attorney and former Milwaukee alderwoman, has joined Horizons Law Group, Brookfield, with a new practice focusing on foreclosure defense for homeowners. McNamara-McGraw has 30 years of litigation experience.
Milwaukee law firm Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan LLP announced that Nathaniel Cade Jr. has been named to the 2012 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), made up of general counsels and managing partners from top law firms and in-house legal departments across the country. Cade is an experienced litigator whose practice includes product and professional liability, complex commercial litigation, construction law, insurance defense matters, patent litigation and legal ethics.
Maistelman & Associates LLC, Milwaukee, has named Dennis Krueger to its staff. Krueger most recently worked as the assistant attorney general for the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Criminal Litigation Unit, and he has extensive experience in the Waukesha District Attorney’s office in a variety of positions.
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren S.C., Milwaukee, announced that shareholder Allen Schlinsog Jr. has been named president of the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association. Schlinsog is chair of Reinhart’s Product Liability and Safety Team and a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Practice Area. Schlinsog previously served as president-elect, treasurer and co-chair of the EDWBA’s Programs Committee.

Butler-based MRPC has hired Jessica Belongia as quality assurance engineer. The addition is part of a round of engineering and high-tech manufacturing hires for the 91-year-old company.
Superior Die Set Inc., Oak Creek, has promoted Lynette Ellmna to chief financial officer; Mark Ullstrup to vice president of sales and marketing; Steve Janiszewski, to regional sales manager; and Nicholas Janiszewski to customer and product support manager.
Derek Christiansen has been named protein technical account manager for Wixon, Inc., St. Francis. Christiansen has 10 years of experience in the meat and food ingredients industry. Prior to joining Wixon, his background included serving as regional sales manager for a food ingredient distributor, as well as technical sales manager for an ingredient producer.
Milwaukee-based Prolitec Inc., has named Shari Bjorn as a director of national sales. Bjorn comes to Prolitec with more than 20 years of experience in the in-store entertainment industry, working with such prominent clients as Nordstrom, Radioshack, F.Y.E., The Disney Stores, Fred Meyer Stores, J.C. Penney, and Ashley Furniture.

Milwaukee senior living community Eastcastle Place has promoted Dawn Jacques to director of social services. Jacques, 41, joined the staff in August as a social worker for both Eastcastle Place and sister community Newcastle Place in Mequon. She has more than 18 years of social work experience, including six years working with seniors.
Tourism
Visit Milwaukee has named Frost Williams as new convention sales development manager. Most recently Williams was director of group sales for the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, and prior to that spent ten years with Hyatt Regency hotels. Williams will be responsible for lead generation and selling greater Milwaukee as a premier destination for conventions, meetings, tradeshows and events.
