The United Way of Greater Milwaukee announced the three co-chairs who will lead its 2012 Community Campaign are: Paul Jones, chairman and CEO of A.O. Smith Corp.; Gregory Marcus, president and CEO of The Marcus Corp.; and Peggy Troy, president and CEO of Children’s Hospital and Health System.
Stephen Roell, chairman and CEO of Johnson Controls Inc., also was elected to serve as United Way of Greater Milwaukee’s new chairman of the board.
The United Way chapter also announced several new board members to serve three-year terms: Thomas Gentile, president and CEO, healthcare systems, GE Healthcare; Mark Irgens, manager/president, Irgens Development Partners LLC; R. Bruce McDonald, executive vice president and CFO, Johnson Controls Inc.; Cory Nettles, managing director, Generation Growth Capital Inc.; Gregory Oberland, executive vice president, insurance and investment products, Northwestern Mutual; Kristine Rappé, senior vice president and CAO, We Energies; John Raymond Sr., M.D., president and CEO, Medical College of Wisconsin; and Mark Taylor, FACHE, president and CEO, Columbia St. Mary’s.
In addition, David Muth, partner, Quarles & Brady LLP, and Billie Jean Smith, partner, Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, were nominated to serve one-year terms.
