Milwaukee-based Briggs & Stratton Corp. unveiled its new 25-kilowatt, liquid-cooled standby generator, which is equipped with commercial-grade features and was designed with residential homes in mind.
“Our new 25-kW1 liquid cooled standby generator offers commercial-grade features and benefits, so homeowners with larger residences can have peace of mind that their power will stay running throughout a power outage,” said Amanda Grandy, marketing manager for Briggs & Stratton Standby Power. “It’s the tailor-made backup power solution for homeowners with more electrical needs than our smaller generators can meet, but who are still seeking a more economical option than our larger 35-kW1 unit.”
The new 25-kW1 home standby generator is powered by an automotive-style engine that delivers power to sensitive appliances and electronics such as computers, in addition to powering a home’s larger electrical needs, including electric stoves and air conditioning units.
