Scan-Pac to expand in Menomonee Falls

Scan-Pac Mfg. Inc. has company purchased another manufacturing facility adjacent to its headquarters in Menomonee Falls and plans to expand its business.

 
The building adjacent to its current 30,000-square-foot facility will provide an additional. 40,000 square feet of space that will allow the company to meet its growing market demand.

The added manufacturing space will enable Scan-Pac to optimize work cells and improve work flow and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

“As a result of Scan-Pac’s sustained growth during the past five years and our outlook for the future, a new building was essential,” said Michael Dover, company president.  The company’s growth stems from continuous development of innovative materials that drive Scan-Pac into new markets and opportunities.

In addition, the building is positioned on six acres of property that will allow for future expansion.  

“This building expansion, along with new product lines being introduced in the coming year, will provide for up to 22 additional manufacturing jobs at our Menomonee Falls plant over the next three years,” said Thalia Maniotis, human resources manager at the firm.

Paula Weiss, vice president of finance at the company, said Scan-Pac is eligible for up to $431,000 in tax credits from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.

Scan-Pac is a manufacturer of non-asbestos friction materials and phenolic laminates for use in a wide range of industrial and oilfield applications.
