The United Way chapters of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County recently kicked off their 2013 fall fundraising campaigns.
The United Way of Greater Milwaukee has a goal to raise $52.5 million, which is $1 million over the 2012 goal.
Mary Lou Young, president and chief executive officer of United Way of Greater Milwaukee said the need in the community continues to grow and United Way needs to be able to respond.
Linda Benfield, managing partner Milwaukee Office, Foley & Lardner LLP, Greg Oberland, executive vice president, products, sales and marketing, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. Inc., and Brad Chapin, executive vice president, U.S. business banking, BMO Harris Bank, are serving as co-chairs of the Milwaukee campaign.
United Way in Waukesha County has set its annual fundraising goal at $4.75 million for the fall campaign, the second leg of the three-year “Strive for 5” goal to reach $5 million by 2014.
United Way in Waukesha County has three chairs for the 2013 campaign, all of whom are associated with General Electric: James Ambrose of GE Healthcare Financial Services; Robert Hutchinson of GE’s Energy Waukesha Gas Engines; and Robert Reilly of GE Healthcare.
