Waukesha State Bank has renamed its Wealth Management Services division to Prairie Financial Group and named Kristin Reilly president of the division.
The name was changed because Prairie has expanded outside Waukesha County and wanted its name to reflect that. The division serves clients throughout Wisconsin and in Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, Massachusetts and Montana.
“It’s really our goal to grow with the needs of our customers and we’ve got an expanded product and service offering,” Reilly said.
The company is still committed to its local service offering and its roots, she said. The new name is a nod to Waukesha’s 1800s name, Prairieville.
Prairie Financial Group has 20 employees, and is planning to hire two more this year. The division offers trust and trustee services, retirement services, investment management, estate services, financial planning, enhanced cast management and planned giving.
“We’re very interested in continuing to grow the expertise of our team,” Reilly said. “There’s a lot of financial opportunities in the marketplace and we really do believe it’s an underserved market at this time.”
J. Bernard Fiedler has served as president of the division for the past 24 years and is staying on as executive vice president.
“Kristin’s strong financial background means she will be able to lead the organization in a manner that will speak to the needs of our clients,” said Waukesha State Bank president and chief executive officer Ty Taylor. “She is an outstanding leader and has been instrumental in expanding our product and service offering, enlarging our organizational footprint, and growing the Prairie Financial Group team.”
