Arthur Nizza, a hospital president in Poughkeepsie, New York, has been named president and chief executive officer of Meriter-UnityPoint Health.
Nizza will become Meriter’s leader Feb. 16, replacing Jim Woodward, who left in June after heading up Meriter for eight years. Peter Thoreen and Dr. Geoff Priest have served as interim CEO and interim president, respectively.
