Hispanic Chamber plans summer programs

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin will kick off a busy summer of activities by presenting a Latina Leadership Series Workshop of the Month on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to noon.

 

The event will take place at the chamber’s headquarters in Milwaukee at 1021 W. National Ave.

The theme of the first workshop will be “First Steps to Start a Business.” The seminar will be led by entrepreneur Mary Pangman Schmitt of Prime Inc.

The HCCW also will celebrate its Fiesta Tailgate in conjunction with Cerveceros Day for the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will celebrate Hispanic culture and baseball at Helfaer Field, featuring live Latin bands, Latin food, games, raffles, appearances by Hispanic Brewers players, the racing sausages and this year’s exclusive Chorizo Bobblehead for game attendees.
